BOPP Film

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is a versatile and sustainable packaging solution for products of any shape and size. BOPP is a durable, environmentally friendly product, but it can also be susceptible to scuffs or tears if not handled with care. It's less transparent than most other plastics and has more stretch than BOPP. Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene film (BOPP) on the other hand is both water-resistant as well as tear resistant. That makes it ideal for packaging products that may experience abuse such as those often found in warehouses or distribution centers.

BOPP film is most commonly used on automatic packaging machines. Shrink wrap films are machine specific and each film has a unique shrink ratio. BOPP films should not be used with machines that have a PET shrink ratio.
